Carol Lutsinger
STEM Scholarship
launching towards the future
The South Texas Astronomical Society is excited to announce the creation of the Carol Lutsinger STEM Scholarship in honor of the Society’s founder.
Mrs. Lutsinger passionately educates the people of South Texas about the wonders of the night skies, conducting programs in schools and throughout the community. This scholarship fund will support students in the Rio Grande Valley who aspire to pursue college degrees in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and related fields.
STARS is raising money for the Nebula Fund, where all contributions will go directly towards the scholarship award. Award number and amounts are dependent on the amount of contributions received.
Carol touched and inspired many lives so please consider donating in honor of the tremendous work she did and still does to continue her legacy of STEM education in the Rio Grande Valley.
