Fireworks in space? More like August’s Perseid meteor shower. No telescope? No worries! No need for one. Just find a dark spot, lie on your back, look northeast and be patient, your eyes need time to adjust. For best view, head out around midnight. You may be able to watch up to 100 meteors per hour. Don’t forget to have fun!

Bonus tip: Bring a blanket, bug spray and a friend!
